What to expect as a new patient

Once scheduled, you will automatically receive a Welcome email and an Intake email. The Intake email has a link to the intake and consent forms.
Click the Intake form link, have your insurance card handy, and fill out the questions. It's not finalized until you initial and sign the consent at the end.
Our team will verify your insurance benefits with your Insurer, if we have questions we will call or email. (Please allow for 2 business days)
Please bring a photo ID your first appointment, maybe eat a snack and wear loose clothing prior to your appointment
Happy Dance! You're established in our care :D Now your only job is to relax as hard as you can!

Insurance and Billing Information

Seattle Healing Acupuncture accepts insurance for the following companies:

Kaiser
Health Allies
Lifewise
PacifiCare Health Systems
PIP (Personal Injury Protection – Auto)

United Health Care

If you do not see your specific company on the list, you may still be covered. Please call us at (206) 783-1912, and we can further assist in that process.

For billing questions, please contact our billing department at please email seattlehealingacupuncture@gmail.com.

As a service to you, we handle all insurance billing. Our clinic will provide an online courtesy inquiry into insurance benefits. If we can access the benefit information, we will explain your coverage to you. Ultimately benefits are the responsibility of the patient. We highly recommend you also inquire about your benefits.

Rates

Time of Service Rates for Acupuncture:

The following discounted rates apply for those who are paying for their visits at the time of service.

These rates are for patients who have either exhausted their insurance benefits or the plan does not cover Acupuncture.

Initial Acupuncture Visit - $140
Return Acupuncture Visits - $110

Note: These rates are discounted from the amount billed to insurance due to less admin work, no billing fees, and no holds on payment. Therefore, discounted rates are only valid if payment for acupuncture services is received the same day of your treatment.

Qigong Classes, Treatments and Private Sessions (taught by Jackie, not on-site)

Qigong classes

Classes are taught in a series. 1-hour classes 1x/week for the length of the series.

5 class series - $125

8 class series - $200

* Prices vary depending on the length of series

Qigong Workshops. Price will vary depending on length of workshop.

Medical Qigong Treatment and Prescription Exercises- $180 - 1 hour

Private Qigong Teaching session - $180 - 1 hour
