What to expect as a new patient

Once scheduled, you will automatically receive a Welcome email and an Intake email. The Intake email has a link to the intake and consent forms.
Click the Intake form link, have your insurance card handy, and fill out the questions. It's not finalized until you initial and sign the consent at the end.
Our team will verify your insurance benefits with your Insurer, if we have questions we will call or email. (Please allow for 2 business days)
Please bring a photo ID your first appointment, maybe eat a snack and wear loose clothing prior to your appointment
Happy Dance! You're established in our care :D Now your only job is to relax as hard as you can!

Insurance and Billing Information

Seattle Healing Acupuncture accepts insurance for the following companies:

PIP (Personal Injury Protection – Auto)

If you do not see your specific company on the list, you may still be covered. Please call us at (206) 783-1912, and we can further assist in that process.

As a service to you, we handle all insurance billing. Our clinic will provide an online courtesy inquiry into insurance benefits. If we can access the benefit information, we will explain your coverage to you. Ultimately benefits are the responsibility of the patient. We highly recommend you also inquire about your benefits.

Fees

The following discounted rates apply for those who are paying for their visits at the time of service.

These rates are for patients who have either exhausted their insurance benefits or the plan does not cover Acupuncture.

Note: We have discounted packages for established patients! Please ask front desk!

Initial Evalutation & Treatment

This is for your first visit, includes both evaluation, Chinese Medical Diagnosis, and Treatment, lasting 60-75 minutes. If you provide insurance 2 business days prior to your appointment, we can verify if your plan covers acupuncture, including the initial visit.

Return Visit

Follow-up treatment for established patients, lasts 60 minutes. Point Injection Therapy can be booked with this appointment as well.

Point Injection Therapy

Booked alone or with a 60-min acupuncture session, this service is a safe alternative to cortisone injections, and can powerfully address muscle, joint and nerve pain. As a stand-alone treatment, sessions are 15 minutes.
